Ease of use

Our telehealth services easily connect you with board-certified online doctors through digital platforms for video calls, messaging, and even phone calls if needed. Using our app is a streamlined way to access quality care from anywhere you have a phone, computer, or laptop. This offers a convenient way to address medical concerns without going to a physical doctor's office.1,2,3

Straightforward ongoing or one-time medical and mental health care

At PlushCare, one key benefit of telehealth is that our online doctors can provide care for both urgent care needs and chronic conditions. Our patients commonly speak with board-certified providers about various conditions such as respiratory issues, infections, anxiety, depression, and more.

Our services also extend to men's and women's health, sexual health, and pediatric care. A key benefit of telehealth for mental health is the ability to access our licensed therapists for online counseling for mental health conditions like depression and anxiety from anywhere. He is a deeper look into examples of telehealth.

Patients in all 50 states can book appointments with our top-rated doctors and other providers to discuss their medical needs and concerns. This is a key benefit of telehealth in rural areas as you can see someone from home and if needed, we can send your prescriptions to your local pharmacy.

Prescriptions are provided at the doctor’s discretion. If medication is prescribed, it will be sent to your pharmacy of choice.

Obtaining prescriptions online

During your telehealth visit with us, you may also be able to obtain prescription medications during a telehealth visit. Our doctors can prescribe antibiotics. And other various online prescriptions. PlushCare, our board-certified doctors, may also be able to write refill prescriptions for existing medications you are taking, regardless of who initially prescribed them to you. Being able to get a prescription online and pick up at your local pharmacy is a key benefit of telehealth services.

While our doctors can prescribe these and other medications for both new or existing prescriptions, your doctor will decide what treatment option is best for you—prescription or otherwise—based on your virtual visit and their medical judgment. Please note that, like most other telehealth services, PlushCare does not write new or refill prescriptions for controlled substances.4

Flexibility, convenience, and access for all

Our telehealth services provide flexible and accessible healthcare, especially for those in rural areas and seniors. You can easily schedule virtual doctors visits that fit your lifestyle, avoiding long travel times to a healthcare facility. Our board-certified providers are available from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere with internet access and a video-enabled device. This bridges the gap in healthcare availability as a key benefit of telehealth for rural communities.

Telehealth lets you book visits quickly, often more so than traditional in-person appointments. You can connect with providers in all 50 states, bringing healthcare directly to you. We offer appointments seven days a week, including evenings, making it easy to get care on your terms. Our visits can be as short as 15 minutes, addressing your health concerns efficiently without major disruptions to your day.

The online portal enhances accessibility. You can book, reschedule, or cancel appointments anytime and message your Care Team between visits. This ensures your care is flexible, personalized, and ongoing. At PlushCare, we empower you to receive the attention you deserve, no matter where you are.

Cost

A final but important benefit of telehealth services is the lower average cost of most online providers compared to in-person offices.5  We accept most major insurance plans, and even Medicare. We offer a prescription discount card which can save you up to 80% on medication costs and provide discounted labs and at-home test kits should your doctor need to order any tests. We believe in straightforward and affordable healthcare and if we are not able to treat you, we’ll provide a full refund.
