Can You Get Ciproflaxin Online?

Antibiotics are a staple of modern medicine that provide many patients with easy and effective treatment for various infections caused by bacteria. Although antibiotics are readily available, there are times when it would be more convenient if you could get antibiotics on the internet. But can you buy antibiotics online? The answer is yes, but you want to make sure that you go to a reputable source.

Online tele-healthcare sites offer more options than ever, like getting a prescription for Ciproflaxin, but it’s important to understand your choices for your specific medical condition and what would be the best option for you. Let’s talk more about this medication, what it is used for, and how you can get Ciproflaxin online.

What is Ciproflaxin?

Ciproflaxin is an antibiotic medication that is used for the prevention and treatment of infections caused by bacteria. It is useful for treating conditions such as skin infections, urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, typhoid fever, pneumonia, and lower respiratory tract infections. It can also be used for opportunistic infections (OIs) in patients whose auto-immune systems are compromised, such as people with HIV.

How Does Ciproflaxin Work?

Ciproflaxin works by killing the bacteria that causes certain infections. It belongs to a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones.

Ciproflaxin Dosage and Treatment

Ciproflaxin can come as a suspension liquid, a tablet, or an extended-release tablet. You can take this medication with or without food. The dosage is commonly prescribed to be take twice a day for suspension liquid or tablets, or once a day for an extended-release tablet. You should take Ciproflaxin around the same time every day. The duration of your treatment will depend on the type of bacterial infection you have and may typically last 7-21 days.

You shouldn’t take calcium-fortified juices or dairy products in conjunction with this antibiotic unless they are accompanied by food. Don’t chew, split, or crush these tablets. If you can’t swallow tablets, your doctor may offer you the suspension liquid form as a substitute.

You should start to feel better within a few days of starting treatment. Be sure to finish the entire course of Ciproflaxin that your doctor has prescribed, even if you start to feel better. Contact you doctor if you do not improve or your symptoms start to get worse.

Benefits of Ciproflaxin

In the event of a terrorist attack or biological warfare, Ciproflaxin could be used to treat dangerous viruses that could be spread such as plague, anthrax, or tularemia. This antibiotic can also be used to treat cat scratch disease, an illness that can develop after a person has been scratched or bitten by a cat. Other conditions that Ciproflaxin has proven beneficial for include Legionnaires’ disease, tuberculosis, Crohn’s disease, bone infections, chancroid, and granuloma inguinale.

Side Effects of Ciproflaxin

This medication may cause side effects. Contact your doctor if any of the following symptoms become severe or do not go away:

The following symptoms may be signs of a more serious side effect. If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop taking Ciproflaxin and contact your doctor right away or seek emergency medical assistance:

Considerations and Precautions of Ciproflaxin

Ciproflaxin is not usually prescribed to children under the age of 18 years unless they have a serious infection that cannot be treated with other types of antibiotics. If your doctor prescribes your child Ciproflaxin, be sure to tell your doctor if your child has ever had any joint-related medical conditions. Ciproflaxin can cause issues with bones, tissues, and joints in children. Contact your doctor if your child develops symptoms such swelling or pain during or after treatment of Ciproflaxin.

Let your doctor know if you are allergic or have had a reaction to a quinolone or fluoroquinolone antibiotic such as Levaquin (levofloxacin), Factive (Gemifloxacin), or Avelox (moxifloxacin).

Talk to your doctor if you or anyone in your family has a history of a prolonged QT interval (a rare heart condition that can cause an irregular heartbeat or fainting), a slow heartbeat, a heart attack, or low levels of potassium.

If you are taking any antacids that contain magnesium hydroxide, calcium, or aluminum hydroxide such as Tums, Mylanta, or Maalox, you should take ciprofloxacin at least two hours before or six hours after you take your antacid treatment.

Taking Ciproflaxin can make your skin sensitive to the sun and ultraviolet light. Try to avoid any prolonged exposure to the sun and contact your doctor if your skin becomes red or blistered as if you have a sunburn.

Avoid caffeinated products such as coffee, cola, energy drinks, or tea while taking Ciproflaxin. The combination of caffeine products and Ciproflaxin can increase nervousness, anxiety, sleeplessness, and heart pounding.
