Edarbi prescription FAQs

  • How Does Edarbi Work?

Edarbi is an angiotensin II receptor blocker(or ARB) that helps your blood vessels relax. By doing so, your blood vessels allow blood to flow more freely, reducing the workload on your heart.

  • What Is The Recommended Edarbi Dosage and Treatment?

The recommended starting dose for an Edarbi treatment plan is 80 mg once daily and Edarbi can be taken with or without food.

It is important to always consult your doctor before starting Edarbi, and follow the treatment plan given to you. Edarbi may be used in combination with other hypertensive agents, and therefore your dosage may vary on an individual basis.

  • What Are The Benefits of Edarbi?

Edarbi relieves hypertension in your blood vessels. By reducing your blood pressure, Edarbi allows your heart to pump more efficiently. This lowers your risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems.

  • What Are The Side Effects of Edarbi?

Side effects of Edarbi range greatly and many common side effects may occur as your body adjusts to the new medication. Common side effects include,

    • nausea

    • diarrhea

    • fatigue

    • cough

    • dizziness on standing

    • weakness/lack of energy, and general feeling of tiredness

You may experience one or several of these side effects. However, if mild side effects persist, it is important to alert your doctor.

Tell your doctor immediately if any serious side effects occur after you begin taking Edarbi. These include,
