What is Yupelri® nebulizer?

Yupelri® (revefenacin) is an FDA-approved anticholinergic medicine prescribed to treat COPD, including emphysema and chronic bronchitis.1 Yupelri® is delivered to your lungs using a nebulizer, which can be purchased from most local pharmacies or medical suppliers.2

Yupelri® is not a rescue medication for bronchospasm attacks and should not be used in place of a fast-acting inhalation medication.1

How does Yupelri® nebulizer work?

Yupelri® is taken using a nebulizer, a device that converts liquid medicine into a mist for inhalation.3  After inserting the medicine into the reservoir of the nebulizer, breathe evenly for approximately eight minutes using the nebulizer mouthpiece.3  The nebulization process is complete when no mist remains in the device.

By helping to relax the muscles around the airways in your lungs, once-daily Yupelri® prevents symptoms such as shortness of breath, cough, and chest tightness.1, 2 Do not stop taking Yupelri® suddenly and without consulting a doctor, as this could worsen your symptoms.1

Yupelri® nebulizer dosage

The typical recommended Yupelri® dosage for maintenance treatment of COPD is one (1) viral by oral inhalation once daily.4  Each vial of Yupelri® contains 175 micrograms (mcg) per 3 millimeters (mL) of solution.4 Do not mix Yupelri® with other medications in the nebulizer cup (reservoir).1
