Received his M.D. from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in 2005 and went on to complete his residency at Scripps/Mercy Hospital in San Diego. Prior to that, Dr. Duque served four years in the US Air Force as a Medical Laboratory Technician.

Attended UCSF for her medical degree and graduated in 2011. She went on to do her internship and residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Family Medicine and was awarded the Community Medicine Award upon her graduation.
