Can I do a primary care visit online?
Yes, many primary care visits can be done online using your smartphone, tablet, or computer. PlushCare allows you to meet with board-certified doctors virtually for routine health concerns, medication refills, chronic condition check-ins, and more. If your provider believes in-person care is needed, they'll refer you appropriately. Using the PlushCare app, you can log into your appointment quickly and easily to speak to your provider on your smartphone. If you would rather not download the app, you can use another device that allows you to conduct a video visit such as a tablet or computer.
Will my insurance cover primary care visits?
Before booking any healthcare appointment, it's important to understand the potential costs involved. PlushCare accepts most major insurance plans (please note that Medicaid is not currently accepted), but insurance is not required to use our telehealth services. If you're uninsured, you will be responsible for covering the full cost out of pocket.
