The most common side effects of Nurtec are mild and can include:
Nausea or upset stomach
Stomach pain or discomfort
Indigestion

Nurtec comes as orally disintegrating tablets, so you can bring them with you anywhere to stop migraine pain quickly. Since they dissolve on the tongue, you can take them without needing water or a drink, allowing you to be in control of your migraines.
Your doctor will give you instructions on how to take your Nurtec prescription. This may include taking one tablet (75 mg) per day at the first sign of a migraine to ease symptoms. To prevent chronic migraines, your doctor may recommend taking one tablet every other day.
You should not take more than one Nurtec ODT 75 mg tablet a day.

Nurtec ODT may interact with certain medications, including:
Antifungal medications, including fluconazole, itraconazole, and ketoconazole
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) medications
Antibiotics, including clarithromycin, ciprofloxacin, and cyclosporine
Avoid consuming large amounts of grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice. Grapefruit can increase the levels of rimegepant in your body, which can lead to increased side effects.
