National Doctors Day

Each year March 30 is National Doctor Day. At PlushCare we’re excited to take the opportunity to thank not just our amazing doctors, but doctors across the country who are saving lives and keeping Americans healthy. This year in particular, as we cope with the COVID-19 outbreak, appreciation for our doctors is even more important.

As the number of infections rises we increasingly turn to the healthcare professionals for help. These individuals have risen to the challenge working long hours and seeing thousands of patients, often putting themselves at risk of infection. For this we’d like to say, thank you.

At PlushCare we’ve seen an increase in appointments as people turn to online doctors for medical and mental health treatment regarding the pandemic, but also for other medical needs that cannot be met by primary care physicians and urgent care centers during this hectic and uncertain time.

Our doctors have remained a constant and reliable medical resource for our patients and the hundreds of new patients discovering our services.

By seeing patients online, the doctors at PlushCare are helping reduce overcrowding in hospitals, slow the spread of the virus, and save in demand resources for those who need them most, all while providing treatment for thousands of patients in need of medical assistance with nowhere to go.

This past year PlushCare doctors have spent over 300,000 minutes with patients. That’s a lot of time and dedication to the health of our patients! We’d like to take this time to give our PlushCare Doctors a special shout out and appreciate all they’ve done to keep smiles on our patient’s faces, especially in these critical times.

And to the doctors around the country who continue to care for us when we’re at our lowest, even when it means risking their own lives, we’d like to extend our gratitude. Without these heroes we’d find ourselves in a far worse reality. In times of hardship it’s easy to focus on the negatives, today we hope to spread some positivity as we join together and appreciate all our doctors do for us.

Speak to an Online Doctor

Our board certified PlushCare physicians are standing by to help with your healthcare needs. Our doctors are typically available for same-day appointments and the average consultation lasts just 15 minutes.

97% of conditions are treated on the first visit.

During the COVID-19 outbreak we are experiencing an increase in appointments. We are scaling our services to meet demand.

Our doctors can help with coronavirus related needs such as online screenings, official testing recommendations, and COVID-19 related anxiety, to name a few.

Our physicians can also help with other medical needs that cannot be met by your primary care physician or urgent care center at this time.

Some common things we can help with are: prescriptions and prescription refills, primary care for ongoing conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension, and mental health support.
